Practices To Attract Abundance

Abundance is a state of being in which life is effortless and easy. It’s the innate tendency of nature to grow, produce, and create more of everything. It is everywhere in the universe, and it can also appear in your personal life if you allow it to express itself. To attract abundance into your life, begin by realizing what true abundance even means.

The state of abundance referred to in this article isn’t limited to wealth or money. Money plays a role in abundance but it is not everything. For example, you can have all the money you could ever want, but if you feel abandoned or isolated, you are NOT in a state of abundance.

So how do you attract abundance consciously and willingly from moment to moment?

It’s important to note that each and every person has his/her own fundamental beliefs. Our perceptions of the world stem from our belief systems, which are, theoretically, formed during childhood. These beliefs either make or break us. Our decisions and actions are grounded in these beliefs – either pulling us away from opportunities or pushing us towards them.

For example, a common belief about abundance is that people should do more and work harder to achieve this state. But by doing more and working harder, while they produce results, they are not the results that you probably want – what you want are results that are like magic.

In order to stop operating from limiting belief systems and start attracting abundance, follow the three practices below.

  1. Rework and dismantle your fundamental beliefs

Your higher self desires all the best that life has to offer.

However, the little nagging voice in your head that says you can’t have what you want is simply a belief that has been programmed into your subconscious mind that you may have believed for some time.

Try this:

Make a commitment to transform that part of you that says you’re small. It may feel uncomfortable, but if you want to live outside the box, you’re going to have to get comfortable with being uncomfortable. Don’t buy into a belief system that’s robbed you of many opportunities in life.

  1. Find alignment.

Attracting abundance is easy when you’re living in alignment. Alignment, simply put, is what feels true to your heart. When you know your alignment or what feels good to you, everything else becomes unacceptable.

Alignment may also be in the form of letting people go – people who may not have the same goals or perspective on life that you do. Everything that’s not right in your life needs to fall away to create space for what is supposed to be.

Here are some exercises that you can practice to find alignment:

  • Practice feeling. Notice your feelings in the present moment, wherever you are. Use these feelings as a guide. It may lead you to opportunities, and eventually, growth.
  • Put yourself in a state of awareness. When you can, write down your thoughts. Make a list of what you can and can't do to achieve abundance. Ask yourself, “What’s in the way of my path to abundance?”
  • Be purposeful. You’ve most likely made commitments to other people. For example, if you have children, you most likely pick your kids up from school even if you feel under the weather. Notice the amazing things you can do for others – and make sure to do the same for yourself! Don’t settle for average and mediocrity. You’re not here to live a mediocre life.
  1. Live in gratitude.

In addition to alignment, live a life of gratitude. When you’re in gratitude, abundance becomes an inevitable consequence. The universe rewards you for noticing and acknowledging all that is being done for you. On the other hand, if you complain often and tend to look at the negative instead of the positive in any given situation, the circumstances that happen in your life will also tend to be negative.

The life that you want is on the other side of being uncomfortable. If you want to stay comfortable, all you’ll get is the same life. Instead of feeling with your brain, feel with your heart.
